Biography

My name is Victor Augusto Rodriguez Gasparini. I ‘ve been in love with art since I was a child. After serving 25 yrs. in the ARMY I fulfilled my dream and proceeded to study Art at the School of Plastic Arts and Design (Escuela de Artes Plásticas y Diseño), in San Juan, P.R.

Artist Statement

My main subjects are landscaping, nature scenes, mountains and abstract. When painting landscapes, I respect its colors but also include my inspiration. In the abstract my emotions, ideas, and imagination take over. 

My inspiration derives mostly from the Masters, Monet, Goya, Leonardo Da Vinci, Van Gogh among many others.

My style is realism, impressionism and abstract. As for mediums, I prefer oil, although I sometimes use acrylic and water.
