About
Recently retiring from medicine has allowed me to focus on oil painting. I have a love of outdoors. Hiking, fishing and hunting have been great escapes for me. Painting allows me to capture a moment in time and to incorporate the emotional and unique subtleties of the experience.
I am excited to continue my journey in painting, moving on to the next adventure and capture it on canvas.

Biography
I have been actively painting part time for the last 7 years. I practiced medicine for 40 years. Thirty-eight of those were spent in Fort Collins as a clinical physician with Associates in Family Medicine, much like medicine painting is an art of insight and observation. A keen eye to detail is often required.
My father enjoyed landscape painting as a hobby. Remembering how he enjoyed his time with a brush developed an interest in pursuing painting. I have been fortunate to study under several local and well as national known artists over the past several years.
