Pam Froemke

About

"Many different creatures have played important parts in my life as companions and working partners. My art is an attempt to represent drama and motion through the expressive character of horses. I'm captivated by their honesty, form, nobility, and strength.

The mediums I use capture the realistic details that portray the mood of the animal, while giving the viewer a hint of its personality."

Biography

Pam Froemke has received recognition as an artist since her childhood years in Fargo, North Dakota. She spent her high school and early college years completing work for solo shows in the Fargo area and numerous private commissions. After taking some time away from art to move around the country and study natural resources and computer science, Pam is once again "getting back into" her art. Among the artists she lists as influences are Robert Lougheed, C. M. Russell, Richard Schmid, and John Singer Sargeant.

She now lives just north of Fort Collins and is a member of the Artists' Association of Northern Colorado and the Equine Art Guild.
