100 Square Inches of Art 7th Annual Exhibition

100 Square Inches of Art is back for 2025 and pushes the creative powers of local and national artists to express their artistic vision inside of 100 square inches or less... no more. Art can be made into any form or shape as long as the total square inches used is equal to or less than 100 square inches (3D Artists get an extra 10 inches of depth for a total of 1000 cubic inches!). See color, see shape, see forms or figures, portraits or abstracts. All in a small form factor that is perfect for a holiday gift or a special addition to your personal art collection.

Thinking small encourages creative thinking and a sense of detail. How can working on a small scale help bring out your vision? How can a small art piece take on a large presence? How much art can an artist pack into a small space? Will the piece be 1” wide and 100” long, 10” x 10” or something else?

Submit an Entry

Submission Instructions

1) Select the number of images you would like to submit

2) Press the “Submit Entry Fee” button and you will see a form to enter your contact information and pay the entry fee.

3) AFTER completing payment for the entry fee, you need to EMAIL your images with information to submissions@3squareart.com (We do not have an online form to submit the images so they must be sent manually by email. Please use only one email if possible). Please note the following formats:

✅ Please include Artwork Information for each image including:

  • Title

  • Medium (For example: Oil, Aclylic, Watercolor, Graphite, Charcoal, Mixed Media, Fiber Art, Digital Art, Sculpture, Printmaking, Photography, and etc.)

  • Dimensions (include BOTH artwork size AND framed size for framed artwork)

  • Year Created

✅ Image File Naming: Name your image files in this format => FirstLast_Title.jpg. Please do not include any other information in the file name.

✅ Image Size: Images should be less than 5MB each with the longest edge ideally 1800 pixels or more and not less than 1600 pixels

✅ File Format: Save your images in .jpg format

Exhibit Date: October 30 – December 21, 2025

Opening Reception (and Halloween Party): Friday, October 30, 6-8pm

Deadline for Submission: Monday September 15, 2025


Eligibility

100 Square Inches of Art 25 Exhibition is open to artists who are at least 18 years old (by the time of entry) submitting original works of art created within the past 3 years.

  • All works must be 100 square inches or less and can be in any form factor (i.e. 5” x 20”, 10” x 10” etc) INCLUDING ANY FRAMING IF USED. 3D Artists can use a maximum of 1000 Cubic Inches (i.e. 10” x 10”x 10”etc) .

  • Each artist may enter up to 5 artworks.

  • The competition welcomes ALL media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, textiles, and digital art.

  • Artworks must be have been created in the past 3 years; any artworks completed before September 15, 2022 will be disqualified. The Entry Fee is non-refundable.

  • The enclosed entry/entries must be original work, independently created, composed and executed.

  • No copies from other artists' works or paintings/drawings from other artists' photographs or from published material will be allowed. Source material must be original.

  • Artwork that previously exhibited at 3 Square Art Gallery are NOT eligible to submit.

  • All entries must be submitted electronically here

  • All entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE

  • Please review the SUBMISSION AGREEMENT before submitting.

3 Honorable Mentions: Certification

Selected artists for the exhibition receive the following benefits:

  • Professional exhibition space and display of artwork

  • One of top galleries in Northern Colorado (great addition to resume)

  • Accepted artists will be listed on the 3SA website with their work and link to their website

  • Press releases on exhibition sent to 3SA media outlets


Schedule

  • Submission Deadline has been EXTENDED to: Monday, September 15, 2025 at Midnight

  • Notification of Acceptance Period: September 27-October 4

  • Agreement Due: October 8

  • Artwork Due: On or before October 24

  • Artwork Drop Off Day: Friday, October 24, 1-4pm

  • Exhibition Dates: October 30 - December 21, 2025

  • Artwork Pick Up Day: Monday, December 22, 1-4pm
